SearchWiki doch mit opt-out?!
Dezember 10th, 2008 by Sascha received No Comments »Soeben auf SearchEngineLand gelesen dass Google wohl doch plant eine Möglichkeit einzubauen, um SearchWiki auszuschalten. Das ganze soll im ersten Quartal 2009 passieren. TechCrunch hat dies anscheinend in einem Interview mit Marissa Mayer erfahren. Ebenso hat sich die junge Dame zu einem Statement hinreißen lassen, das auf SearchEngineLand wie folgt publiziert wurde:
Mayer explained that if “thousands of people” would remove a result from a search results page, then it might make sense to remove the page from everyone’s results. TechCrunch promised to post a video of the interview with Marissa later, so check the site later for her exact words.
Interessant, interessant sag ich da mal. Das eröffnet ja so einiges und lässt Platz für eine Unmenge an Spekulationen! 2009 wird also wohl ein spannends Jahr im Bereich des Suchens und Findens.
