re:publica 2010 – day 3 recap
April 17th, 2010 by Sascha received No Comments »The last day of re:publica 2010 started for me with a nice talk of Geert Lovink about Web 2.0 strategies. Was a little University lecture like, but nice examples of how to utilize the web 2.0.
Afterwards I somehow happened to manage to see the last minutes of Götz W. Werner’s talk about basic income with some interesting points of view but also some quite unrealistic approaches.
The best speech of day 3, in my opinion, was held by Miriam Meckel. The topic was ‘this object cannot be liked’ and covered subjects like the ‘where’s the border of human and IT judgement’ and some almost philosophic questions like this. Really good talk and useful approaches. My favorite.
Afterwards we went on to see some hands-on advice in order to do ‘media hacks’. Saw some nice case studies. Nothing more, nothing less. Quite ok.
Highglight at the end was, of course, the goodbye session of all those that hosted re:publica 2010. Special should be a live skype video chat with Biz Stone of Twitter. But since he didn’t made it to the fixed appointment, we had to improve a little bit. And did it quite well. Way funnier than a talk with Biz Stone ever could be. But have a look at the video itself. re:publica 2010. you rocked.
