How to Twitter & Facebook Fanpages

August 25th, 2009 by Sascha received No Comments »

Well, cool news by the end of last week. Facebook anounced that it’s possible to integrate twitter into fanpages. Admins where happy and blogging about (so did I @ ambuzzador – in german). Now people are complaining that it’s still not possible or that they can’t figure out what to do or how to do it. So here is, in 30 seconds, explained how it works :-)

But first of all: You still can’t update your facebook status on fanpages via twitter! It’s the other way round. What you change (status, pictures, events) can be tweeted directly from facebook. Of course, you can decide what should be send as an update to twitter. All you have to do is:

  • go to facebook.com/twitter (see screenshot above)
  • connect the fanpage you want with the apropriate twitter account
  • choose your settings
  • there you go

facebook & twitter

Pretty simple and basic, works well so far.You simply should check out whether you’re happy with the standard message that is send by facebook when you add pictures or other stuff.

If you still need any help, do not hesitate to ask. I’ll be there for yoouuuuuuu (just saw friends on DVD ;-) ).
